Unmanned Systems Technology Sdn Bhd (UST) is currently looking for Bachelor's and Master's degree holders in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering to join thier engineering team in Batu Berendam, Melaka (as well as possible posting in Cyberjaya, Selangor). There are particularly interested in individuals with profound interest in aerospace engineering applications.
UST, a company incorporated on January 15th, 2007 is a joint venture between Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM), Systems Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd (SCS) and Ikramatic Sdn Bhd. The goal of this join venture is to design, develop, integrate and operate indigenous Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for specific use of the Malaysian Security Forces and provide general system products for local and foreign markets. UST focuses on R&D, manufacturing and possible marketing of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for ASEAN and in the Middle Eastern market. In October 2008, the status of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) project was upgraded to a national project with immediate effect by the Malaysian government.
There are a relatively new company and therefore are currently still in the process of building thier engineering capabilities. Interested candidates can send their resume to Nizam Haris at haris@unmannedtechnology.com.my. Junior or Senior year students interested in an internship with them are also encouraged to send in their resume. However, at the moment, they have limited space for internship (one or two).
